2002 Dodge Grand Caravan / Sliding Door?

If the door works with the remote and the buttons, its fine. If you pull the handle, the motor does not kick in on those models. I think it was added in the later models, about 04 or 05. Good luck.
 
i have a question. i am borrowing my brother's caravan and i think i broke the side automatic sliding door. it's a 2002 model, the sliding door opens and closes when i use the keyless remote control. however, when i use the door handle the door does not open automatically. when i click (pull) the door handle, isn't it suppose to open automatically after i do pull the handle. some say it doesn't have that option but i think it does. please help, if i broke it, i have to get it fixed before i return it.
