I get the P0456 code and was told by Dodge that it is a leaky vacuum pump hose/canister, but they said it was no big deal and I could have it replaced soon, but not right away (this was a week ago). Now, it won't go into drive. I noticed as i was coming home i was losing a lot of power (also having front differential grind noise). Spark plugs need changing too, but they made it sound like I could these things done one at a time, but not immediately. Any advice on why it shuts off when i put it into Drive?
2002 Dodge Durango 4.7 liter, starts fine, put into Drive, engine shuts off.?
