2002 dodge dakota 4.7 4x4. funny motor sound?

i have a 4.7 dodge dakota. it has a funny sound comeing from under the front the front passenger wheel whole. it sounds like air or a ticking sound. it drives good. it is just very anoing. does anyone know what this could be? every time i start it it is very load. it goes tick tick tick. over and over again. for about a half an hour then it just get quiter. is a 2002 dodge dakota 4 wheel drive 4.7 litter. im not sure what the 4,7 means but waybe you will. thank you. bye bye. xoxoxo
