This could simply be a bad switch for the E-brake, or it could mean serious brake problems. if you're not experiencing problems stopping the car, then I would look at a bad switch tripping the light. if your brakes are not feeling like they stop the car like they used to, then I would have it towed (Yes TOW IT) to a shop and have them run a complete diagnostic on the brake system. if your still unsure, PLEASE have this checked out before you drive it anywhere. the cost to have it towed it nothing compared to the cost of having caused a major accident.
