2002 cadillac dts starts up then cut off on me unless i can keep giving it gas?

Car had trouble starting, replaced battery problem was not as often. Thought it could have been the alternator but power was not drained out of battery. Initially thought it was related to remote starter that was installed at a shop. Now car starts then cuts off when gas is not constantly applied as of yesterday.
 
1 ever been tuned...if 80/90K without tune it needs it
2 ck engine lite on? get free scan most auto parts stores
3 may show bad throttle position sensor [TPS] or crankshaft position sensor [CPS]
4 could be gas filter or fuel pump [i doubt it] check fuel pressure with gage
 
i would check your fuel pressure first, also see if the pressure drops quickly after you shut it off, if it dose it could be your fuel pressure regulator.also make sure your battery has a good ground.
