The headlights turn completely off sometimes when on high beam. Switching back to regular beam turns the lights back on. The high beam problem is intermittent and can't be duplicated on demand but it does happen often. What could be the problem? Hopefully its something I can fix myself.
edit: I can't figure out how to post a follow up comment so I'll put it here..
Thanks, I'll look the switch up and see if I can find the part number and order the part. Gotta read up some, but hopefully I can replace this myself.
edit 2: What can I do to troubleshoot to determine which switch needs replacing?
edit 3: it has to be the switch in the steering column. One thing I forgot to mention was that when I am using the high beam (most of the time it works) sometimes it won't switch back to regular beams even with extra force applied and I have to pull the handle a few times to make it switch..
