My 2001 Toyota Corolla is dead. When you turn the key nothing happens. Before it died completely, the car alarm went off. My belief is that the anti-theft system killed my car. I have checked the battery and it is fine. Anyone know how to get my car restarted? I dont want to have to get my car towed and pay god knows how much money for something that might be a very simple fix.

Battery, starter, alternator, relay, fuse, or something between the battery and starter.Follow the battery wires and check each item. Try jumping if it starts it the battery or alternator.

if the engines not turning over and the battery is fine then its the starter or the alternator.unplug your alternator and take out the 2 screws and take it to a murrays of any auto parts store theyll test your alternator and battery for free. it sound like an electrical problem.
