they squeaked all the time, so jacked it up and took the wheels off. at this point when i changed the brakes, bought new rotors as well. still squeaked. just the other day, bought ceramic pads because i was told that metallic just squeal all the time, and the ceramic done the same thing. so i just took them back and all i really know to do is deal with it. but the sound is just too much.
ive been paying a lot of attention and i have found that when i barely press the brake, there is no problem. when i give quite a bit of pressure, it squeals like no other. but when you press hard enough to almost lock it up but it still allows to slow down easily, there is no squeal at that time either. and i have definitely for about the eighth time ruled out the drums. any idea at all?
the rotors are basically new, the brakes were put on with the rotors. i never lose pressure and stop just fine, and also there is no squeal at all when stopping in reverse
