ok so for my 17th birthday my mom and i went and bought me a 2001 cougar, and a 99 mustang. she has a focus and all 3 cars a registered in her name. she got arrested on may 13th 2010 the cougar was towed and impounded. her ex husband went a forged her name and got the car out without anyone knowing then he came to her house and stole the mustang. he is trying to make her pay $1600 for the cougar and $2000 for the mustang to get them back. I need help putting the cars in my name without him finding out until i go and pick up the cars he has the titles and everything but i wrote down the license plates and the vin numbers and the makes how can i change them into my name? PLEASE HELP ME!!!
