2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport Reviews!?

I have a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport that has 240,000 miles. She's ran great, and has been the best vehicle I've ever owned. There's no quit in her, but she is def. tired! The last year that jeep ran the Cherokee Sport line was in 2001 - so when mine goes, I plan on looking for a 2001 model down South somewhere (I'm from Buffalo and don't want a Jeep doused in salt and rust!). The reviews on Kelly Blue Book are all encompassing from 1988 - 2001 models, so there are very few reviews thus far for 2001 models. Everyone else I've talked to said that the jeeps got nothing but better each year, and 2001 should live up to earlier models. The mechanic also said the line was discontinued because making indestructable cars isn't necessarily the most desireable circumstance for a car maker! Almost as if vehicles getting 250,000+ miles doesn't give the car dealer as much business as if it died much earlier than that!

Anyways - any owners of 2001 Sports out there? I'd love to hear what you have to say!
