2001 Jeep Cherokee "No Bus" error issue?

I was removing some dash components to do some work and removed the gauge cluster. After putting it back together the vehicle works fine however when I turn on the lights I get a "no bus" error and the check engine and airbag lights come on. I saw a previous posting about the "no bus" error, however that was happening without turning lights on. HELP
