I am searching for answers on how to do certain engine mods to my 2001 jeep Cherokee sport 2wd 4.0L 6cylinder.
Everytime I ask a question I get someones opion on why they think its a bad idea.
For example:
It is a bad idea to put a 6" lift kit and 36" ground hawgs on a volkswagon jetta. But it is possible and if someone asked me how to do it, and I knew how I would tell them how. I wouldn't try to talk them out of it by saying, Dude thats a bad Idea you'll ruin you car, and it will perform badly.
So back to my questions:
Anyone know where I can get a peformance intake manifold for a 2001 jeep cherokee xj 4.0L?
I think that the 4.0L engines are basically all the same. I may be looking for a peformance intake for 2001 4.0L engine, when in fact all I need is a perfomance intake for a 1999? I have seen peformance intakes made for jeeps with the 4.0L engined but they did't say they would fit my 2001.
Can I use a peformance intake made for another year?
Also, there are people out there that are upgrading the injectors, I believe that the stock are 19lbs injectors and the upgrades are around 23 or 24lbs injectors. I also heard that the stock can be replace with ford mustang injectors, does anyone know who sells performance injector upgrades for my year jeep. or what year mustang injectors they are using?
Please just answer the question, don't respond if you think its a bad Idea, or I will just block you.
