2001 Honda civic 1.7litre, at approximately 1000rm under load I get a rattling noise. It comes from the right front portion of the engine bay. It seems to be coming from either the exhaust manifold or the alternator. Unable to tell which or if it is for sure one of these two. Anyone have any ideas?
I have checked the entire exhaust and see no cracks. Tried using a screwdriver to "hear" the noise but cant distinguish anything different.
