I read somewhere that there is a 35mm - 45mm offset range but what exactly is the offset of the original manufacture wheels/rims? I need to know because I found wheels that will fit my car and the offset is 42mm. However if that 35-45 above is true then what are the risks of using 42mm offset?
The only thing I know is the higher offset means the wheels are further away from the body whereas the lower offset means the wheels are more inner/inside and a chance of not being able to steer the wheel because it will hit the insides. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
