Curious is anyone has any experience with or if there is a Common problem with this line. My 2001 Ford Taurus, i bought 6 months ago used. the Right Channel speakers are out. both Front and Back and Front tweeter mounted high. So I;ve gotta believe its not a Speaker (because that would be all 3 out) Right Side is completely dead. Now, to Test this i pulled the door panel, and got no signal from wires. 2nd. Had a friend with a Taurus, I swapped the Stereo Head Unit (with Knowing both Right and Left on his Work) Still No sound. So, I am left with a wiring or a amplifier (crossover) issue? Right?... Anyways, i don't have a Service manual and therefore no wiring diagram. Need to know IF there is a Common problem or something i could look for, or 2ndly if there is an amplifier or Crossover unit in the car somewhere. (then i need to know where the heck it would be? Any help would be appreciated.

I had a 99 and had the same problem, ended up being the dealer mounted amplifier. It is located between the back seat and the trim carpet in the trunk. I replaced the amp and mine worked fine.
