I accidentally left the keys in my car with the ignition turned on. Two days later when I notice this I tried to start it and nothing happened, not even a sound or a click . The lights and the radio didn't work at all. I put the battery on a changer for 24 hours. When the charging cycle was over the car still didn't start although the lights now are very bright and the radio works well. We took the battery out of the car and took it to be tested at the auto parts store. They said the battery was good.
Could someone please point me in the right direction. All my friends have different ideas as to what could be wrong but I don't have the money to experiment and mechanic fees are a little beyond my means. Also none of them are mechanics! I would be grateful for any help.
