bought the car 6 weeks ago, last week the temperature gauge flipped up to red for a few seconds and the engine chugged quite roughly then gauge went back to the middle, its been doing this more frequently since. the fan seems to kick in quite early too. yesterday by husband was driving in a 30 and the car died twice. the car isnt losing water or oil and the engine doesnt seem overly warm. we've ordered a temperature gauge to see if this helps but any other suggestions? baby number two is due in a few weeks and really need this resolved before he makes his arrival!
thanks for ideas so far - we've had the car on a diagnostics test already and not a single fault flagged! and i think i should have said temeperature sensor.... so not car minded should have waited for my husband to be up!
