And my wisdom says...

I just recently bought a 2001 Ford Focus after my 99 cougar got totaled in an accident.
I've had the car for about a month now, and within the past couple weeks I've experienced something odd.
When getting on to on ramps, while accelerating in the process of getting on the on ramps(where it's at that slight turn) my car doesn't...go. I accelerate but it almost seems as if it ran out of gas (which it hasn't) so I have to let off the gas touch the break, and then accelerate.
Anyone have any ideas?
Manufacturing defect, I've learned since buying the car there are a lot of those, like squeaky brakes even if the entire braking system is replaced.
