My 2001 Ford Explorer Sport started making noises on the highway, which gradually got worse and worse to where it's now everyday no matter how slow I'm going. It sounds like a vibration/humming noise that gets EXTREMELY loud when I go over 65 mph. It started out sounding like it was coming from the front passenger side; now it just sounds like it's everywhere. Funny thing is- it stops if I'm turning slightly to the left on a curved road. Any idea what it could be? I've had a mechanic that did my alignment to check it out to see if he could figure out anything, but the best he could come up with is something small is vibrating, and just getting louder like a tuning fork effect.
