I have a 2001 toyota Echo and while on the interstate my check engine light and the light indicating that it was overheating came on. I noticed that the car was not in overdrive and would not go into overdrive. I pulled over as soon as traffic would allow but my speed dropped to 30 mph to the floor and then stalled. Had it towed and the radiator cap had blown off and water and antifreeze all over everything and car will not start at all now. It makes a sound like it has a dead battery (turns over very slow) when I try to start it but the battery is fine. It only has 82000 miles on it.
