I have a 2001 Dodge Stratus. I've kept it well maintained -- both engine as well as body.
A few weeks ago I noticed for some reason my driver's side floorboards were wet. I pulled the carpeting up and it was pretty well soaked -- i hadn't realized it earlier because of the mats over it. The passenger side is bone dry. I run the A/C regularly (as I live in FL).
I have soaked up the water and but it continues to get wet. I don't think it is a leak from the outside, as I've sprayed my car and noticed that it didn't get worse after a rainstorm. It did get worse after driving through the rain though.
The sheet metal appears to be cracked, but I can't tell if the cracks are entirely through or just on the surface.
PLEASE HELP! How do I avoid this?!
And P.S....I haven't left my windows down in a rainstorm.
