i was driving home the other day, when i started to accelerate fairly quickly it started to like slip. it would like rev up and down. it had never done it before, and hasnt done it again. anyone know what would cause this?

first thing you need to do is check your fluid level. makes sure the truck is running at operating temp. and it is in park. if the fluid level is ok take to someone who can pull some codes, see if you have anything pendin. note: just becouse the check engine light is not on doesnt mean there arent codes stored

It's starting to slip. It will get worse. There is a check valve that wasput in at the factory to help keep fluid from draining back to the pan. I'm assumining it happened in third gear which will get worse. it will also affect reverse eventually
