you need to recheck the connection for the tcm unit also on it,if it gets loose it will cause this too happen,are you sure you connected the wires back up really good for the solenoid,the reason i ask you this is i replaced one and was sure i had everything right on it and the wires didn't make a good enough connection and i wound up with the same problem i had before,all forward gears worked good also but had no reverse,id recheck it if i were you,good luck.
