Ford Ranger v6 = 150 HP , 185 TQ
Dodge Dakota v6 = 175 HP, 225 TQ
so my question is why does the Ranger have a maximum towing capacity of 5885 lbs, while the more powerful Dakota has only 3550?
does the ranger have a stronger built engine?
bottom line... I want a pickup that has great mpg,
and to pump up the power a bit, I'm gonna install a turbocharger...
but turbo's are hard on engines so would the ranger last longer?
