I have been changing my brake pads and rotors every year, usually the front!!! When I asked the Dealer about the ongoing problem, they told me that it's because of wear and tear. At that time, my car was only 50,000 miles. But changing every year? I just changed them again this past Thursday. The only warning I got was the dash brake warning came on the same day and started grinding metal to metal about 5 minutes after the warning.
