I plan on cutting my yellow wire for the pass-lock issue affecting the Malibu's of my year. I know how to do it and what not but my only question is what toggle switch should i go out and buy at radio shack to use in case of an all out power lost in my car since it is recommended that you use a toggle switch to reset the pass-lock system.
Here is partial step one to the instructions i have found but no recommendation on which toggle i should buy
"1. Select a suitable on-off switch (see note below) which will be used to disable/
enable the Passlock System. Mount the switch in a location such that it is
accessible to the driver and will not interfere with normal vehicle operation.
NOTE: This is an extremely low current circuit (approx. 7mA), it is therefore very important that a high quality, low energy, fast acting switch be utilized
for this application."
So i need a toggle that i can buy at Radio shack, and what gauge of wire I should use also. Thanks
