I have been battling my wife's Impala for a few months now.
Here's what happens:
She comes home from work on Friday and parks the car, come monday morning the battery is dead.
If we use the car over the weekend, no problems.
I have replaced the alternator and the battery. I put a volt meter on the car, and it says that there is nothing pulling on the battery when its off. I am proficient with diagnosing and fixing cars, I've "been under the hood" for 10 or 12 years.
Here is something to think about:
I have a 2007 GMC P/U, if I park it in the garage where she parks, the battery will be drained in about 4 or 5 days.
The vent for the dryer dumps in the garage and blows hot moist air right under the hood. Could this be the problem?
Thanks

Looks like you covered the bases, except if you have an on-board clock or alarm system, there will always be draw from the battery, but it'll be ever so slight. If you park the car outside for the weekend away from the dryer exhaust, do you have this problem? If not, it's not the dryer heat. If so, redirect the dryer tube outside.
