I have been battling my wife's Impala for a few months now.
Here's what happens:
She comes home from work on Friday and parks the car, come monday morning the battery is dead.
If we use the car over the weekend, no problems.
I have replaced the alternator and the battery. I put a volt meter on the car, and it says that there is nothing pulling on the battery when its off. I am proficient with diagnosing and fixing cars, I've "been under the hood" for 10 or 12 years.
Here is something to think about:
I have a 2007 GMC P/U, if I park it in the garage where she parks, the battery will be drained in about 4 or 5 days.
The vent for the dryer dumps in the garage and blows hot moist air right under the hood. Could this be the problem?
Thanks
