2001 BMW or 2006 Pontiac?

I am considering the purchase of a used car for about $10,000. The two options I have narrowed my selection down to are a 2001 BMW 530i with sports package and 116,000 miles on it and a 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP with about 50,000 miles. Both vehicles are in very good condition. Which car would you recommend and why?

no reason except that the BMW has high mileage, and repairs on a german car is EXPENSIVE. and since your only spending $10,000 you probably dont have too much money to be throwing away

the BMW is nicer, probably faster, more luxurious...etc etc. but a bimmer with 116k miles is NOT a good buy. a pontiac with 50k is going to see more life.
 
it all depends on which type of car you want. if you like to cruise around the road without minding the bumps, then get the BMW. but if you want speed, get the pontiac.

but i would really prefer the BMW no matter what
