2000 suzuki vz800 chain issue.?

Im trying to figure what to do about the chain on my motorcycle. When the master link is going around the rear sprocket, its almost as if the chain doesnt fit the sprocket and make an annoying sounds as it goes around. the rest of the chain seems fine, but when the master link hits it is when i have the problem...

am i going to have to replace the whole chain or is there something else i can do?
 
You seem to have a 'dry-spot' on the chain and a master-link is a prime target. If an O-ring check for a 'misplaced' O.
Buy a new master-link and while replacing it clean and lube the connecting links real good.
