ok i have a 2000 pontiac sunfire with the 2.2 in it. a red top optima battery under the hood and a yellow top in the trunk, with a 4 gauge wire ran from the red 1 2 the yellow one. i have a mtx 4 ch amp pushing bout 400 watts rms and a 220 amp alternator with upgraded 4 gauge wiring. during the day when jus tthe running lites are on none of my gauges quit, but during nite with full head lites on the temp and fuel gauge like to quit for some reason and i dont know why. i thought i was pulling 2 much juice form my alt but i upgraded it it a 220 amp and i still have the same problem. my amp is setup to turn on with the radio, and i dont even have it on at nite when the guages quit working.. idk if im still pullin 2 much juice or wat. Y does my gauges quit working?
