I have a 2000 grand prix v6 and the gas gauge doesn't work right. When I first crank the car up it shows full and once driving it will eventually drop to completely empty and the low fuel light stays on. I know there is gas in there I've been keeping an eye on the trip odometer but I was wondering how to fix the gauge? I've heard a lot of grand prix, grand am's have this issue but how can people know how much gas they have! A friend of mine who knows a lot about cars says it could be the ground in the fuel thing or whatever but I don't know what that means...
