i was wondering if the lexes rx300 had a timing belt or a timing chain. i have had a timing belt replaced on a different car a was looking to buy a used rx300 but it has 89k miles and i was looking to see if the timing belt needs to be changed. i checked edmunds.com which usually tells me schedualed maintenence but it never mentioned anything about the timing belt and i was wondering if it had a timing belt or a timing chain? i know that you have to change the timing belt at about 90k miles but you should never have to change a timing chain. am i assuming correctly or is it really a belt and edmunds.com is lying to me?? thanks
