2000 Lexus ES300 Door Lock Issue?

Hey all!

So, I own a 2000 Lexus ES300. I have some random door lock issue.

1) I can unlock and lock the doors perfectly fine with the interior button.
2) I can unlock the door with the wireless key fob.
3) The door slot suddenly doesn't work. I cannot unlock or lock. It only physically unlocks/locks the specific door I stick it in.
4) I cannot lock my doors with the wireless key fob. I need to lock the doors first with the interior button, and then press "lock" to arm my car.

Does anyone know why? I don't think it is a motor issue because everything works. But I don't want to take it to a Lexus dealer because they're probably going to charge me money for no reason.
Does anyone know how to reset the alarm system? This is a factory alarm system.

I don't think it is a mechanical issue.

I've had this issue 2 times. But it somehow was able to fix itself when I turned the key and pressed some button. It was randomly done, so I'm not quite sure what I did

Is there some way to reset the Lexus alarm system? This is a standard alarm that came with the car.

Take the door panel off and make sure the lock cylinder switch is attached to the cylinder (There is one in each front door). Some times they are known to fall off the lock cylinder and fall inside the door and cause locking issues.
