So I just Got my engine replaced.. and when I bought the engine it was running fine no ticks or nothing.. now finally the engine is in my jeep.. and now its ticking when the rpms r reved up.. also it smoking but i think thats just from all the oil, my mechanics really messy.. also there is coolant in the radiotor but it is still hotter then usual its 3/4 of the way.. and I have no interior heat.. the hose that goes to the thermostat has no pressure in it.. whats up any ideas!

1. sounds like a used engine-when you listened to it there wasn't a muffler on it and it and you couldn't hear the ticking.
2. Smoking stops-It doesn't go on as long as your talking about unless the mechanic really really filled the oil then you should drain some out.
3. Replace the hose and the thermostat.
4. Don't get serious about going to far until you get some of these problems resolved
