hello,
i have a 2000 honda crv.
i get a noise that sounds like a bad bearing from the front end.
it starts around 60kms and continues right through to 120.
the first thing i checked was the air pressure in the tires. i inflated them right to where they should be.
we still heard the noise.
next, i rotated the tires (at certain speeds it sounded like tire slap), ( like our tire had gone out of round, i've been told this was possible if the tire was mounted so as to rotate counter to it's tread design or if the tires belts shift).
the noise persisted.
next we replaced the drivers side wheel bearing and still the noise persisted.
does anyone think the sound could be coming from the bearings in the front axles?
thank you.
