2000 Honda Civic Si, first car?

I'm 16 and getting my license soon. I really want to get this car but i was wondering if these get stolen a lot. I live in California in the long beach area, does it have a high risk of being stolen? I know that any car can get stolen thats why im putting a good alarm system in it or if there is anything else i should do to help prevent it. I'll also be parking it at night deep in my driveway with my dads truck right behind it if that can help. I'll be using it to take it to school and to pick up my little sister or to go to the store if my parents need anything i dont know stuff like that. But I really love these cars. Also I wont be parking my car in the school parking lot, ill be parking it at a friends house that lives right next to the school so that should maybe help too so that its not as visible. I want to keep this car for as long as i can. So please help me out guys, let me know if its worth it or not to get this car. thanks
