...smell from exhaust? i have a 2000 honda civic ex with a d16 1.6 SOHC vtec engine. it has a rough idle, all the spark plug wires appear as a blur due to the vibration, and theres a smell of burning oil but no visible leaks anywhere. i put my hand behind the exhaust and it has an irregular pattern and a slight sweet smell. there is no check engine light and above idle its fine. it has 132000 miles and no other problems. could this just be normal or what could be the problem?
