Not a wheelbearing problem. Help. I have had wheel bearings checked and I have put about 25,000 km on it with this noise and any wheel bearing would have burned out by now. I have had snow tires on it which changed the pitch of the noise but it was still there. Everyone who gets in the car asks me if I have a wheel bearing going. This noise has been getting progressivly louder and more higher pitched for the last year. It starts at about 50 kmh and by 70 kmh its really loud. If I ease on the gas peddle it reduces a bit but comes back with acceleration. I am wondering if it may have something to do with the exhaust system. Honda can't find the problem and the noise is driving me crazy. Any help would be much appreciated.
