ok so, i have a 2000 honda accord lx with 130,000 miles on it. this doesn't happen all the time but once in a while (a few times a day) i have difficulty shifting the car into reverse for first. when im sitting at a stop, i go to shift into first and it goes about half way but not any farther. i let off the clutch completely, put it back on it takes some effort but it goes in. after i get it in, it slides in without a problem for a good while. the reverse is the same. i don't think it would be air in the lines or cylinder(s) for the clutch due to the fact that the clutch is nice and firm and its always that way. i did some research and found out that it could be the shifter linkage or synchronizer(s). does anyone have any additional ideas, or other things i can check to narrow down what it could be?
