2000 Ford Focus SE Wagon?

What's wrong???? Start by power washing your engine. THem, remove the battery cables, and clean them at BOTH ends. If they are frayed or there is hidden corrosion, replace them with new FORD units. This is the basics. Wash your alternator with CRC electronic cleaner. Check the ground wire to it. Remember that the alternator feeds the sensors, fuel injectors, ignition system, EVERYTHING, and it relies on good connections. Remove the IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE, and clean it with Gum-out spray. Keep your engine showroom clean. It was meant to be that way.Good luck!!
