I hooked my 2000 Focus ZTS up to my friends code reader and the first code that came up was 171. After a few seconds it then started flashing 181 7E5 E3 one after the other.
What do these codes mean? I'm struggling financially and trying to save the money of bringing it into a shop and pay for the diagnostic
The day after these codes appeared, the car is beginning to really struggle while idling. Almost feels like it's about to stall. Runs fine while driving, just gives the problem when idling. Seems to possibly be worse when it is cold.
