I have a 2000 ford excursion and all the sudden it wont start. I had a friend who is a mechanic and tested the battery and the starter and said they are both fine. He was able to start it somehow by bi-passing something, sorry i cant remember how he did it but he was under the truck. Anyways he isn't sure what it could be till we take it into the shop and run some other tests but till then its killin me not knowin what it could be. I read some were these trucks have some kinds of security thing that might need to be reset but I cant find that site again to try it. So any ideas? Ive got such a headache Trying to figure it out. Its not diesel and its a v-10.And no its not out of gas lol Thanks in advanced.
I forgot to add when you turn the key it doesnt make any sounds or turn over, you can hear a faint click if you are standng near the hood. Dont know if that helps.
