2000 Dodge Stratus 2.0L -- Replaced water pump/ thermostat/ engine coolant temp sensor/ check fans and relays/ flushed whole system twice/ replaced presssure cap/ checked heater core/ no oil coolant mix (no sign of head gasket problems) ... no leaks just overheats till it overflows out of resevoir... what else would cause this besides possible a faulty part like the Thermo. or pressure cap????
when i did the water pump we replaced timing originally was off 1 tooth already adjusted no problems with timing.. car is super picky about that
thermostat was listed as 118 degree book calls for between 110 and 125 ...
all coolant hoses check out... no internal springs and are pretty rigid...
