2000 Dodge Ram van tires for 16" rims?

I just bought a 2000 Dodge ram conversion van that has 16" rim with p225/70/16 tires, I want to put a bigger tire but I need to make sure it won't hit, the factory size tires are 235/70/15" so what size can I get away with using the 16" rims on the van now, thanks
 
im not sure on that one,but you can use this web site and compare what will fit it on their site,that's one sure way to know without guessing at it,good luck, http://tirerack.com
