I've got a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 with a V10 with 140,525 miles on it. Changed the oil, cleaned the throttle body, changed the plugs, air filter, and put fresh gas in it with an additive to clean the fuel injectors. The engine runs smooth but when it's accelerating it sounds like there's an exhaust leak somewhere. It chugs along. Can't find the exhaust leak anywhere. The pipes look good and there's hardly any rust on them and there's no holes. It did make a pop one time when I was in park after I accelerated. Could this be the header gaskets or is it something else?
