We have done a complete tune-up when we got the truck. Even changed the oil and changed the air in-take thing. We at first thought it was the gas that we put in because it stopped then it started up again. It started up when I put in Regular gas not the premium gas that my husband had been putting in it. We have also put in Techron and the Gumout fuel injector cleaner with nearly every fill up as the directions said. The truck has high mileage i think it is around 250k. Does anyone have any ideas?
when we got the truck the mileage was approx 222k.
It only stalls when it has been running for a while. It also starts to sputter when it gets around 40 mph. If in neutral it is fine, but sometimes in park it stalls. It does start right up. I saw something about a pcm, could this be the cause.

could be alot of things. need to slim down the list, does truck restart right away? or does it have to sit awhile? does it stall more when first started or when warmed up? if you put truck in park or nuetral does it not stall or does it stall all the time? if it stalls especially cold or in the first 10 minutes of operation, i would look at temp sensor, thermostat or oxyegen sensor. if stalls when hot/warmed up only i would look at moisture in dist cap, ignition module, or possible fuel system problem,
if it stalls all the time regardless of conditions i would suspect fuel pump or filter, or ignition module/dist cap as most likely suspects.
