2000 Dodge Neon wont start...fuel pump?

Hey guys,

I have a 2000 Dodge Neon and I was doing work on it in my garage (changing tie rods) and when i was done, i tried to start it and it would crank but would not start. I was really low on fuel so i got a red can and put a gallon in and still no luck. I can hear the fuel pump come on each time i try to crank it, but still no start. Also no check engine lights or anything like that have come on, now or recently. Any ideas?
 
check for a loose wire or something that might have got knocked loose while you was working on it, if it was running before this ,then it has to run now,fuel pumps don't just go out like that,fuses blow though and relays can cause it not to start.good luck.
