OK..sent'rango into shop for ball joints upper/lowers..front. as well as caliper in front tire was broken.my rango' worked FINE before sending it in to shop,other than the chiming and noise from the tires/undercarraige.i picked up the rango today,and not only did they NOT do the caliper at all(which they noted they did on the reciept,they left it with a torn boots on the joints.they said they replaced. as well as the OWNER of the company taking my vehicle on a 16 mile joyride.which he claims was a test run,and brought it home.i didnt appreciate that at all iether. on my way home,not only was it noisier..i mean NOISY-How they missed that on the test run is beyond me..but the durango also died middriving,4 times.it just shut down instantly.i couldnt get it to start up right away.oncei did,the only way to get it to go,and stay running,was to immediatly start and stomp the gas,and hope when i slowed down,it wouldnt quit again. We have relaced the fuel pump 2 yrs ago. so i know it isnt that. we brought the car back,unfortunatly,because we were charged over 500 for the work,we didnt want to be ripped off...fearing we'll get it back even far worse,and the owner bichin' because he expected US TO PAY again,and adimatly sounded mad when he said"great,you want me take it apart again?! Um..Like they did already..My arse they did...so..what can cause the engine to stop and quit while driving down the road ???
should i sue them? think the engine is going to completely die soon ?
we refilled the oil,even though it was NOT low at all really.it took 1/2 a quart.odd...usually it is 1. but,it has seemed to run so so now for 1 day.but now its back in the shop. anyone know what to do,or what it could be?!?!
