2000 Chevy Silverado miss firing code on cylinder #2?

I have a Chevy Silverado 2000 Z-71 4.8 V8 4wd my service engine soon light came on and i had the code read it gave a #2 cylinder miss fire about a year ago i put new plugs and wires on it and just replaced the plugs about 6 months ago i always change plugs on a regular basis just to help keep up the engine any idea on why that there might have been a missfire on #2 and i think that #2 is the cylinder on the passenger side front behind the fan andy ideas???????
 
You need to remember that parts are still made by man. So to have a plug or wire go bad is not unusual. Just make sure there is no major carbon build up on that plug and you should have nothing.to worry about.
