2000 Chevy S-10 Fuel pump will not pressurize?

I have a 2000 chevy s-10 with a 2.2 liter engine. The fuel pump will not pressurize. I have replaced the pump only on the fuel pump, the crankshaft sensor and the oil pressure switch/ sensor. The 20 amp fuse has power to both terminals, relay is good, switched it out with the horn relay and the horn works with both. Have power back to the white 4 prong connector at the pump, have power at the 3 prong black connector at the pump. Took the pump out of the tank again, hooked it directly to the battery and the pump runs. Put it back together and the same problem is occurring, crank ,crank ,crank and won't start. Also, unhooked the line at the fuel pump cranked over the engine and no fuel. Does anyone have any possible problem solvers, they would be greatly accepted. Thank you if you can help.
With the key being turned, you can hear no humming from the pump. Yes there was a little bit of pressure when unhooking the lines with very little gas coming out.

I can only think of a couple of things.

Have someone go under the truck. Turn the ignition on to the full on position (not accessories) but don't start the engine. Did the person hear the pump run for a few seconds? Should hear a faint hum.

When you removed pump for the second time was there pressure in the fuel lines when you disconnected them?

With the pump removed from the fuel tank does it operate when connected to the wiring harness plug?

You could have a blocked fuel line or blocked fuel filter. You may have replaced a perfectly good fuel pump, crank shaft sensor, and oil pressure switch.

I would do more diagnostics before throwing more parts at it hoping to get lucky enough to find the source of the problem.

Good question......

The fuel pump is on a two second timer when you turn the key on.
It'll run for two seconds, then shut off. Unless the engine starts.
Then, the oil pressure sensor tells the computer to allow the pump to run.

Try this:

Disconnect the fuel filter inlet line
Put a rubber fuel line over it and drop ithe other end into a pepsi bottle or something.
Turn the key on but don't try to start it.

It should pump gas for two seconds and stop. Did it?
Turn the key off and back on (another two seconds of pumping)

We're trying to purge the air out of the system..
